This is in the top list of snowiest areas of the US. Donners Summit the tallest point on the mountain. It has recorded an average of four hundred and nine inches of snow on the ground in a year. This area is considered a treasure because of the forest and the species living in the forest. If you are an environmentalist this would be a great place to live and exercise your voice for endangered species.
